Ballet Intensive

Tuesdays 6:45-8:00 PM

July 8th-August 12th

For experienced dancers who want to improve in all disciplines, this class will focus on proper placement and fine-tuning classical technique.  

 

What To Wear:  black leotard, pink tights, Ballet shoes

Starlight Dance Academy summer class intensive teen high school choreography

(Ages 13-18)

Mastering Choreography Intensive

Tuesdays 8:00-9:00 PM

July 8th-August 12th

This intensive will concentrate on quickly mastering new choreography. Students will  learn longer dance combinations and routines from various styles such as Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and/or Hip Hop. Style changes weekly!

 

What To Wear:  leotard, stirrup or footless tights, bare feet or Jazz shoes

(Ages 10-18)

Advanced Tumbling

Wednesdays 7:00-8:00 PM

July 9th-August 13th
This class teaches floor tumbling and acrobatic skills for experienced tumblers. This level is for students working on walkovers, aerials, handsprings and tucks.  Students must have mastered handstands, bridges and limbers.  

What To Wear:  Leotard and footless or stirrup tights

Starlight Dance Academy summer class leaps turns technique teen intensive

(Ages 13-18)

Leaps, Turns, & Technique Intensive

Thursdays 6:30-7:30 PM

July 10th-August 14th

A fun and challenging workshop for all dancers, this class will work on executing advanced turning sequences and explosive leap variations.  

What To Wear:  leotard, stirrup or footless tights, Jazz, Ballet or Lyrical shoes

(Ages 13-18)

Stretch, Strength & Stability

Thursdays 7:30-8:30 PM

 July 10th-August 14th

​Designed to help dancers build core strength, improve stability, and increase flexibility through a dynamic blend of movement and conditioning exercises. Incorporating elements of vinyasa yoga, pilates mat work, and other strength and mobility techniques, this class focuses on breath control, balance, and body alignment to enhance overall dance performance. Dancers will leave feeling stronger, more centered, and better equipped to move with control and ease. 

What To Wear:  leotard, tights and bare feet; bring a yoga mat
